ENS - PSL / Economics Department

The Economics Department of the Ecole normale supérieure-Paris Sciences et Lettres (ENS-PSL) is recruiting a tenured assistant professor (civil servant) for a start in the Fall of 2022. The post is open to all specialties of Economics, and aims at recruiting a candidate of a very high level, capable of fitting into the Paris School of Economics, a research center associated with the Department, of world reputation.

The department welcomes students from the Ecole normale supérieure, who are selected on a multidisciplinary profile, and the candidate must be able to support them in their academic training. He or she will have to teach in the third year of the bachelor's and in the master's degrees, and participate in various activities necessary for the animation of the Department, for synergies with other departments, and for the recruitment of students. Part of the teaching will be provided in French, so a very good command of this language is required.

The Department of Economics of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL invites applications to fill up 2
permanent tenured positions at the Assistant Professor level (Maître de Conférences) beginning in

For the first position, applications are invited in all fields of Economics.

For the second position, we are looking for candidates specialized in time series econometrics / financial econometrics. The recruited person is expected to teach at Bachelor's and Master's level and to carry out active research on one or both themes.

AMSE

The Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE, http://www.amse-aixmarseille.fr/en ) is inviting applications for four postdoctoral fellowships in economics. Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained their PhD when taking up the position.

Three positions are for three years, subject to a successful mid-term review, and for these positions all fields of Economics and Econometrics will be considered. The starting date is September 1st 2022.

For the fourth position, will be considered candidates working in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics, for 24 months with a possible one-year extension.

Tenured Assistant Professor (Maître de conférences)

The Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) Paris-Saclay invites applications for a tenured assistant professor position (Maître de conférences), scheduled to start on September 1, 2022.

INRAE

INRAE (the FrenchInstitute for Research in Agriculture, Food and Environment) recruits a permanent Junior Researcher in Economics for its research unit SMART (based in Rennes and Nantes), internationally recognized for the quality of its academic work and expertise on globalization and trade policies (https://www6.rennes.inrae.fr/smart_eng/).

We welcome candidates with a PhD in Economics, in particular candidates specialized in international trade and/or industrial organization, with solid skills in causal inference methods and in economic modeling, or with a strong background in structural micro-econometric approaches used in industrial economics.

The recruited candidate is expected to regularly publish in international peer-reviewed journals. He/she will benefit from the employer’s large network of research partners in France and abroad, access to different firm-level databases and technical support for exploring them, and will be able to participate in French and European research projects led at SMART.

Knowledge of French is not required for candidates with an excellent command of English (oral and written), but the successful candidate is expected to acquire/improve his/her French skills after recruitment.

Laboratoire CRESE

Le laboratoire CRESE organise une journée « jeunes chercheurs » en économétrie appliquée, programmée le 04/03/2022. Les candidats intéressés sont invités à envoyer un CV et le Job Market Paper à Mostapha Diss (mostapha.diss@univ-fcomte.fr) avant le 10/02/2022. Le nombre de places est limité. Les chercheurs sélectionnés seront invités à présenter leurs travaux sous forme d'exposés oraux. Le CRESE prendra en charge les frais de transport ainsi qu'une nuit d'hôtel.

Par ailleurs, le laboratoire CRESE dispose d’un poste de Maître de Conférences offert au recrutement au printemps 2022, pour une prise de poste au 1er septembre 2022. Le candidat ou la candidate devra réaliser son activité de recherche en économétrie appliquée et devra s’insérer dans l’un des trois axes de recherche du CRESE.
